In summary...

Funding for Eligible 2 Year Olds (2FEE)

We accept funding for 2 year olds.  Depending on your circumstances and income, you may be eligible for funding for your 2 year old.  If you think you may be eligible or if you have any questions, please click this link.

Funding for All 3 Year Olds (3FEE) - 15 Hours Universal Funding

All children are entitled to 15 hours funding per week from the term after which they they have their 3rd birthday.

From the term after your child's third birthday, he or she can have up to 15 hours a week of free flexible early years childcare and education. This is called 3FEE and it is paid for by the government.  We will apply for this for you.

The places are available throughout England for 15 hours per week, for 38 weeks per year.

You can use all 15 hours at Hummingbirds or split it with another setting or child minder.  If you attend over 15 hours a week, you will be billed for additional hours unless you are eligible for 30 hours a week.

Funding for Eligible 3 Year Olds - 30 Hours

Some parents will be eligible for an extra 15 hours funding per week, a total of 30 hours.  To check your eligibility please click this link.

It is up to you if you want to apply for the 30 hours.  Your income will be assessed by HMRC - If eligible you will be given a code which you give to the nursery.  Again, this can be split between 2 different sites.

If you have any queries, please speak to Janet (Hummingbirds Manager).

Fees

For children not yet eligible for funding, and for sessions over and above the 15 funded hours (if you are not eligible for 30 hours) our fees are:

£16.00* per session i.e. per 3 hours, usually from 9 pm - 12 noon  or 12 - 3 pm, although we are flexible to meet your individual needs.

Bills

Bills are issued at the beginning of each half term.  They clearly show the amount of, if applicable,  Funded hours as well as any fees required for payment.  Arrangements can be made to pay on a weekly basis.  Payments are preferably made by BACS. Bank details will be on your bill.

Terms and Conditions apply to all fees and invoices.

IMPORTANT:  Once a setting has applied for funding for your child, they do not have to transfer funding if your child should move to another setting.  In which case, you may be billed if your previous setting refuses to transfer funding.  It's best check their policies and try and give them at least 4 weeks notice.
