We had a very busy week packed with Hallowe’en related activities. We made cookies, multi coloured cake, spiders, potions, pumpkins, Hallowe’en hunts, Hallowe’en dance session with Miss Paula, and lots of stories and more.
This week we will chat about our Bonfire nights experience, experiment with colour and paint to make fire work pictures, chat about safety and fire generally – stars, volcanoes etc, the work of firefighters and practise our own fire drills; we do not set the alarms off so as not to panic the children.
Fire Marshall training – if you know anyone who may be interested in Fire Marshall training – all businesses must do it – the we have a training day here in January 12th. It’s run by Lewis Lawless Right Start Training who also runs our First Aid training. It’s a four hour course cost around £35. He is also running a one day adults’ emergency First Aid training here on Saturday 17th of this month 9am – 4.30. If interested speak to Janet.
